| Imperial Slow
Pinnace Mark Bridgeman Uses Heplar Thrusters due to its pre-Imperial design criteria, and can sustain 2G for 6 Hours (12 G hours maximum burn) consuming 6 Tons of liquid hydrogen fuel, and in its day before the recovery of Thruster technology represented the best technology that money could buy. The Heplar drive is coupled with an Omni-Directional Contragrav lifter array for use within a gravity well allowing the slow pinnace to manoeuvre and function like any other gravitic based vehicle out as far as ten diameters from its main world. Its fusion reactor, available from tech level 9 is pretty standard and requires 2 tons of fuel for 28 days of continuous use. In practice vessels of this class rarely venture beyond the 10 diameter limit in their typical use as surface to orbit shuttles and vice versa, and hence only use their Heplar engines when conducting interplanetary journeys, hence 6 tons of fuel can last a long time or be used to supplement the reactor's supply. The most common use for these craft however (due to it being an armed version of the pinnace) is in the service of armed or military vessels, shuttling VIP's between stations, space vessels and installations. It also has enough capacity to handle the most sensitive cargos, and two small cabins for long duration missions. Many owners of these craft upgrade them, fitting them with fuel scoops and a purification plant, again to increase functionality and range. Commonly seen at tech levels ranging from 9-11, and generally quite old and in varying states of repair. Newer versions of this craft are being fitted with Thruster plates for use with long-range ships. Crew detail consists of 1x pilot and 1 x Commander though in an emergency only the pilot is needed.
